About me

I am a Project Manager with experience delivering large-scale EPOS deployments across stadiums, festivals and entertainment venues throughout the UK. During my time at Kappture I led projects ranging from small installations to full stadium rollouts involving over 1000 payment terminals.

I enjoy working on projects that involve real operational challenges, particularly environments where technology must be implemented quickly and reliably such as live events, sports venues and festivals.

My experience includes coordinating engineering teams, managing stakeholders, producing project documentation and ensuring technology deployments are ready for live operational environments.

Personal Projects & Interests

Outside of work I enjoy building and working on my own projects. These range from technology and business ideas to hands-on practical projects that involve planning, problem solving and learning new skills.

DIY Golf Course

I am currently building a small 9-hole practice golf course on land owned by my family. The project involves planning the course layout, preparing the ground, installing drainage, laying turf and building a solar-powered irrigation system.

I also purchased a 25-year-old Greens mower and restored it to maintain the putting surface. Restoring and maintaining equipment has been an enjoyable learning experience.

Automotive Projects

I enjoy working on cars in my spare time. My current car was purchased from Copart as a Category S write-off, which I repaired myself (except the rear quarter panel). It is still my daily driver with zero issues.

Projects like this help me develop practical engineering skills and problem-solving abilities outside of work.

RaffleHero

I created RaffleHero, a skill-based competition platform focused on technology prizes. The platform was built with WordPress and WooCommerce, including payment integrations, competition mechanics and marketing campaigns.

Outside of Work

When I'm not working on professional projects I enjoy playing golf, building personal projects and learning new technical skills. I particularly enjoy projects that combine planning, technical knowledge and practical implementation.

Whether it is delivering large technology deployments or building something from scratch, I enjoy solving problems and seeing projects successfully come to life.
