Amazon JWO (Market Express)

Project Overview

Kappture partnered with Amazon to integrate their Just Walk Out (JWO) technology with Kappture’s EPOS platform. The project required developing and testing the integration between Amazon’s automated checkout system and Kappture’s payment and product management infrastructure.

The implementation allowed transactions generated by the Amazon Just Walk Out system to be processed through Kappture’s platform, ensuring accurate product mapping, payment processing and reporting. The integration was tested through a pilot deployment using a Kappture terminal connected to the Amazon system.

My Responsibilities

• Managed the integration project between Amazon Just Walk Out technology and Kappture’s EPOS platform
• Coordinated development work between Kappture engineering teams and Amazon technical stakeholders
• Defined requirements for product mapping, transaction processing and system communication
• Oversaw integration testing to ensure transactions generated by the JWO system were correctly processed
• Produced project documentation including integration specifications and testing procedures
• Coordinated deployment and validation of the pilot system using a Kappture payment terminal

Implementation
