EPOS System Replacement
Project Overview
This project involved replacing the existing EPOS infrastructure across Everton Football Club’s stadium with Kappture’s payment platform. The deployment included approximately 500 payment terminals across multiple concession areas within the stadium.
Although the project did not require complex integrations or custom development, the scale of the deployment required careful coordination to ensure all terminals were installed, configured, and ready for use before match day operations resumed.
My Responsibilities
- Managed the full rollout of approximately 500 EPOS terminals across the stadium
- Manage all project documentation suchas RAID Logs, project plans and progress tracking
- Coordinated installation timelines with stadium operations and catering teams
- Oversaw terminal configuration and system testing before go-live
- Ensured staff were prepared to transition from the previous EPOS provider
- Monitored system performance during initial match day operations
Implementation
The project focused on a complete EPOS swap-out from the previous supplier to Kappture’s platform. Terminals were deployed across all operational areas including bars, kiosks, and hospitality locations within the stadium.
Careful planning ensured the installation was completed efficiently, with minimal disruption to stadium operations. All terminals were configured, tested, and validated ahead of the first match day using the new system.
Results
- Successfully replaced approximately 500 EPOS terminals across the stadium
- Delivered the project on schedule ahead of match day operations
