Project Overview
This project involved implementing mobile payment terminals across a variety of UK festivals for the first time. Each festival varied in size, layout, products, and staff, requiring a unique approach. I developed the processes to deliver and support Kappture's terminals efficiently under very tight deadlines.
My Responsibilities
- Developed and documented processes for terminal implementation across multiple festivals
- Coordinated deliveries and setup schedules under strict time constraints
- Trained festival staff on terminal usage and pre-order processes
- Managed support staff teams to provide on-site assistance during festivals
- Created standardised procedures to handle differences in layouts, products, and banking requirements
- Ensured a smooth and repeatable process for future festival deployments
Implementation
Each festival presented unique challenges. Different team sizes, product lines, and payment methods required flexible yet repeatable procedures. I implemented a fast-track process for delivering, configuring, and supporting mobile terminals.
Training materials were adapted for different staff groups, and on-site support was coordinated across shifts. This project established the first operational framework for Kappture's mobile terminal rentals at festivals.
